Day 2

Managed to do it in the morning!!!!  Did Shape-up Front (also 30 minutes or so).  A little tired but not sore from yesterday evening's workout.  I did notice, however, that I felt sluggish and more winded than yesterday.  Skimped on the weights during a jumping jack part.  I hate jumping jacks.  No interruptions (i.e. no pausing the DVD) but toddler did "join" me.  It felt good to work out again in the morning!!!

  1. I'm right there with you! I'm currently trying to lose weight, too. I have a 7 month old. The funny thing is - I lost all the "baby weight" (about 30 pounds) after he was born. I still had about 25 pounds of weight I had gained BEFORE I got pregnant that I needed to lose. I did ok until I went back to work (when he was 3 months old) - then I managed to gain back some of the baby weight I had lost - plus I still had the additional weight I need to lose. I decided to blog about my weight loss, too, as a way to be held accountable. I gave myself a goal of losing 25lbs before my son's first birthday (July 4). I really want to lose about 40 lbs altogether - but I thought setting an attainable goal to begin with would be good motivation. Anyway, I'm in week 7 - I'm down about 11 lbs. I am documenting my weight loss each Wednesday (Wednesday Weigh Ins) - and I'm telling the good, the bad and the ugly of it all. It does help when you have to "put it out there."

  2. That's great!! I would love to follow your blog! I'll be rooting you on. Losing that much weight is no joke. I think I will "steal" your weigh-in Wednesday idea, if you don't mind.
